Hull House has grown, and small children are enjoying the new Day Nursery. Jane makes the rounds of the nursery to much adoration, but tells Ellen and Julia what is still missing. Meanwhile, after much urging, Nellie has made a decision, but it doesn’t go the way she hopes. The ever-resourceful Jane makes a proposal. Will Nellie finally listen to Jane?
